The Transport Department is an agency with a comprehensive mandate. We are responsible for an overall long-term planning of the transport system for road, rail, sea and air transport. It is a great challenge but also gives the possibility to improve the function of the total transport system.
The Transport Department is also responsible for the construction and operation and maintenance of the State Railways and roads. We will contribute to the development of society and provide for good travel and transportation opportunities, for both private individuals and business. Our data is becoming ever more complex and interesting as the requirements for availability, security, health and the environment increases.
The next few years, we are faced with large retirement and need therefore new recruits now. We need to stock up on, for example, project managers, technology specialists and infrastructural planners, is necessary. Of course we also need other qualifications. In the Transport Department, there are several paths to choose from. You can become a Director, Manager, Operations Manager or specialist. Do you want to develop within the Transport Department, there are good opportunities for skills development.
