Uppsala technologist and Science Students’ Union (UTN) is a professional organization for students in the engineering and science faculty (Tekna) at Uppsala University. Its purpose is to protect, promote and safeguard members’ interests, especially regarding education issues, student welfare issues and business issues. In addition, officials in the task of providing social activities for its members and to promote a good friendship between them.

Labour Corps unit works just like Student Award with the aim to bring students and industry closer together. UTN want students to have greater business contact during his college days and a good insight into their future employment. They must also get inspired and be motivated for as well the further study of their future working life. Case competitions are an excellent example where students solve related and real-life problems and also get a good glimpse of the future tasks.

In addition to being partners with the Student Award organizes UTN many other industry-related events for their students, such as our career fair Utnarm related events weeks and different lunch and evening event with relevant stakeholders including industry.
